Payment We require payment with order.
Quotations and Prices
Quotations are valid for seven days. Prices may be quoted as "Total" in which case VAT is inclusive or VAT may be shown to be Extra.
Credit Card Security Credit card numbers are not retained on any website or at Metal Sheets office. Nor are they held by any retrieval system. The minimum amount of information required to process a transaction is transmitted to Paypal or World Pay
Packing and Shipping We charge for packaging and carriage, the amount is always confirmed with the customer.
Out of Stock Items Unforeseen circumstances will occasionally result in an item being out of stock. In this eventuality, you will be informed by e-mail of the likely despatch date, and given the opportunity to cancel. If you take this option, the cost of this item will be refunded immediately.
Discrepancies, Inspection and Damaged Goods
Packages should be inspected on reciept for damage and signed for accordingly. You should advise us of any shortage, incorrect shipment or transit damage within three working days of receipt, or of non-delivery seven days after your order was placed. Shotages and incorrect shipment will be rectified entirely at the expense of Metal Sheets. We cannot, however, accept any responsibility for incorrect items being ordered. This policy in no way affects your statutory rights. Damaged goods including the packaging should be retained by the customer for a period of 21 days so Metal Sheets have opportunity to investigate the problem and if posible remedy any defect. If it is not possible to remedy any defect Metal Sheets will replace or credit the buyer accordingly.
Cancellation
If we have not manufactured your order there is no problem with cancellation, if on the other hand we have manufactured your order we will consider the possibility of restocking. The majority of orders are for bespoke sizes and manufactured items so restocking is not feasable. However we will take each situation on its merits and make an offer for the goods. Carriage charges can be refunded if the order has not been shipped.
Delivery UK We aim to despatch all cut to size stock items within three working days of receipt of payment. Delivery will be made either by first-class post or by carrier, please allow a further three working days for delivery to you. Offshore and Highlands may take longer. Orders which require additional manufacturing processes such as bending are typicall despatched within three to five working days of payment. We operate a Fast Track service for which there is an additional charge which is advised on a case by case basis.
Export There are no restrictions on the export of any of our products, we ship to EU countries and Internationally by Royal Mail Airmail or International courier.
