Recent research by the University of Southampton & others has found that copper has a rapid antimicrobial action against MRSA and other microbes with a 99.9% inactivation in 90 minutes.

Doctors Surgeries, Restaurants and other public places would benefit from adopting copper.
Stainless Steel has little effect on bacteria and supports the growth of colonies.
Brass which contains some copper inactivates microbes but it is 3 times slower.
