Any views expressed in email messages are those of the individual sender, except where the sender specifies and with authority, states them to be the views of Metal Sheets Limited.
Quotations and Prices
Quotes are valid on the day of quotation only unless otherwise stated and subject to materials not being previously sold. Prices are quoted ex VAT and ex Delivery unless otherwise stated.
Any information given by the company, verbal or written, is given in good faith. However, no liability will be accepted in respect of any action taken by any third party in reliance thereon.
Any product detailed on this website may be used for a wide variety of purposes and as the Company has no control over their use, the Company specifically excludes all conditions or warranties expressed or implied by statute or otherwise as to dimensions, properties and/or their fitness for any particular purpose. Any advice given by the Company to any third party is given for that party’s assistance only and without any liability on the part of the Company.
We aim to dispatch stock items within three to five working days of receipt of payment. Delivery will be made either by post or courier, please allow up to three working days for delivery to you, unless otherwise agreed. Offshore and Highlands may take longer. We operate a Fast Track service for which there is an additional charge which is advised on a case by case basis. Manufactured items such as Table Tops, Bar Tops and other Designer Products should be delivered by a previously agreed date. No claims , back charges or liquidated damages will be accepted for late or none delivery.
We do not pass any personal details (including name, address, phone number, fax number and email address) provided through any web site or through telephone calls to third parties without consent. They may however be used by the company to contact you or passed to any courier service we use to deliver your purchase or collection. Business details maybe passed to others in the trade or associate trades
Credit cards details will never be stored or passed to any third party.
Any “mailing list” type emails from the company will always contain a link which you can use to remove yourself from the list.
Cookies are not used on any of our web sites.
Payment for Goods and Services
None account customers:
We require payment by Debit Card up to £500.00, or Bank Transfer for larger amounts. Amex not accepted. Jobs will not be issued for production until payment is received.
Credit Card Security
Credit card numbers are not retained on any of our website. Nor are they held by any retrieval system. The minimum amount of information required to process a transaction is transmitted to PayPal, World Pay, Streamline or other processor.
Packing and Shipping
We charge for packaging and carriage, the amount is always confirmed with the customer.
Out of Stock Items
Unforeseen circumstances will occasionally result in an item being out of stock. In this eventuality, you will be informed by telephone or e-mail of the likely dispatch date, and given the opportunity to cancel or accept an alternative product.
Discrepancies, Inspection and Damaged Goods
Packages should be inspected on receipt for damage and signed for accordingly. Couriers will not entertain any claim if damaged goods are signed for in good condition.
You should advise us of any shortage, incorrect shipment or transit damage within three working days of receipt, or of non-delivery within seven days of the advised dispatch date. Shortages and incorrect shipment will be rectified entirely at the expense of the company. We cannot, however, accept any responsibility for incorrect items being ordered. This policy in no way affects your statutory rights.
Damaged goods including the packaging should be retained by the customer for a period of 21 days so the company has an opportunity to investigate the problem and if possible remedy any defect. If it is not possible to remedy any defect the company will replace or credit the buyer accordingly.
If we have not purchased raw materials specific to your job or started manufacture there is generally no problem with cancellation, if on the other hand we have started manufacture the will be a cancellation charge related to time spent and materials that have been ordered or used. Carriage charges can be refunded if the order has not been shipped.
There are no restrictions on the export of any of our products, we ship to EU countries and Internationally. Transit times vary depending on the courier, customs delays and remoteness.
